The main thread has slowed down drastically. Should we post our timezones here so we don't wait hours and hours for posts?

I live in North America and my time zone is Central.

joining in (if it's still possible) :D

NAME: Edwinn Uthard
RACE: Breton
AGE: 26
GUILD/GROUP/UNAFFILIATED: currently unaffiliated, besides a few necromancer groups he temporarly joined while studying burial crypts. Looking to join Manimarco's group.
WEAPON/MAGIC OF PREFERENCE: poisoned bound bow and reanimated corpses. Can also use a Bound Dagger to assassinate up close, to skin animals, or to open up corpses for investigation
REGION OF BIRTH: Daggerfall, High Rock
OCCUPATION: Adventurer, independent Necromancer, scientist

HISTORY OF CHARACTER:
son of Laniel Uthard, a man who brought the Uthards of Daggerfall back to their former glory and gained the favor of the Emperor. He had a big farm near Daggerfall where he married and lived with Marianne Bracques of Wayrest. There, they had 3 children, and Edwinn was the first. However, he was hated by everyone except his own parents, because of his interest for necromancy and death, and also for being the heir to the lands and titles of the Uthards, and yet not caring for economics or politics at all. Their hate was only fed further when his little sister died of disease at age 3. So, when the third son was born (Roald), Edwinn decided to run away, and let him inherit all those things he didn't care for.
And thus, he roamed around Tamriel for around 10 years, learning necromancy, even joining up with a couple of groups temporarly, and investigation the most common forms of his "art". He learned all about the Draugr in Skyrim, the Ancestral Spirits the Dunmer summoned to guard their tombs, the cannibalistic rituals of the Bosmer... finding many artifacts of power and Septims along the way. During this time, his personality evolved a lot: he thought of life and death as simply 2 different phases in a scientific process. He had no moral values or feelings attached to killing or watching someone die, but still managed to be kind to people.
However, he received news from Daggerfall: his family had been slaughtered, and his farm burnt down. He had planned to travel to Cyrodiil next, to meet Manimarco (who he heard was planning to launch an attack on the Mages Guild), but instead he sailed immediatly to the Iliac Bay. Through a few rumors and bribes, he discovered every detail about the attack: the corpses of Laniel and his servants were found, burnt to a crisp, although some were killed by blade before that. Some townsfolk reported sighting an abnormally big animal, or perhaps a were-creature. However, what mostly stood out for Edwinn was the disappearence of his mother and younger brother. Thus, he tracked them down to Cyrodiil, which they had appearently reached with very scarce supplies and coin.

PERSONALITY: Quiet, kind, very intellegent, smart, very analytic, able to kill without regret when "studying"

HAIR: dark gray, long (falling to his shoulder) and greasy , with no care or brushing put into it.
EYES: Dark brown
SKIN: regular white, although he can get a bit pale if exposed too much to the sunlight
BODY: quite slim, not very muscular
CLOTHING: always wears a black hood which mostly covers up his face. When in town and travelling, wears a black Belted Tunic, which he trades for Necromancer Robes when exploring crypts. Uses an Ancient Skull Totem found in a crypt of Summerset Isle, which allows him to reanimate up to 2 dead at once.

LIKES: the dead, funeral rites, necromancy, science, his family
DISLIKES: nords, brutes, heavy armor, heavy weapons, any gods (aedra or daedra), politics, economics, and self-righteous heroic fools who try to wipe out necromancy and the supposed "evil" in the world.

AMBITIONS: find out what happened to Lady Marianne and young Roald; discover the truth about his family's slaughter; become a master necromancer; join the King of Worms and learn all the secrets behind his power
REASONS FOR AMBITIONS: necromancy is what interests him the most, and his family are the only people he really cares for.

I keep checking every few hrs cause their is no way for me to hang here all day. Got church in 15 min and then meeting my bro for lunch. It could be early evening or late nite before I get back here.

Sorry if this dampers the story for my Argonian friend but I promise to check here before the day is over to continue our story.

NAME: Sveros Vadryn
RACE: Dunmer
AGE: 22
GUILD/GROUP/UNAFFILIATED: Dark Brotherhood
WEAPON/MAGIC OF PREFERENCE: Elven Bow, Dual Elven daggers
REGION OF BIRTH: Morrowind, Balmora
OCCUPATION: Assassin

HISTORY OF CHARACTER: Sveros grew up in Morrowind, but fled to Cyrodiil after murdering a traveling merchant. Upon arrival in Cyrodiil, Sveros was greeted by a man in a long black robe. The man told Sveros that he knew about the murder, and offered him a position in the Dark Brotherhood. Upon fear of death, Sveros accepted. One day, during a contract, Sveros' curiosity got the better of him, and he entered a tavern, where he met a rather large (compared to Sveros) Nord named Grec. After getting past the initial abrasiveness, Sveros actually started to enjoy the Nords company. Sveros and Grec were then approached by a rather shady looking man, offering them a job to retrieve an amulet from a vampire den. They finished the job rather easily, and both went their separate ways afterwards. Sveros and Grec still meet up from time to time, and Sveros lets Grec know when Dark Brotherhood assassins are coming after him.

PERSONALITY: Rash and impulsive, he takes pride in his stealth and archery skills. Loyal to his friends and family, often resulting in an inner conflict between his loyalties to Grec and the DB

HAIR: Black, rather short
EYES: Red
SKIN: Dark grey, slightly blue
BODY: Small frame, athletic and agile
CLOTHING: Normal clothing (so as not to raise suspicion), leather boots and bracers, Hood

LIKES: Night, murdering, stabbing, pointy objects
DISLIKES: Bright rooms, creaky doors, loose floorboards

AMBITIONS: Climb the ranks of the DB, Help Grec loose the contract on him
REASONS FOR AMBITIONS: Loyalty to family and friends, DB is his family now, but Grec is still his friend, Sveros figures he can stay loyal to both of them in the end.

NAME: Mykell Mast-Edge
RACE: Nord (seriously, must be because we're on the Skyrim board. I'd be willing to switch to Imperial if people would prefer.)
AGE: 30
GUILD/GROUP/UNAFFILIATED: Blades
SEGMENT IN GUILD/GROUP: Agent (informant, masquerading as captain of a trading vessel)
WEAPON/MAGIC OF PREFERENCE: Steel Longsword, concealed Silver Dagger, Restoration and Mysticism
REGION OF BIRTH: Skyrim (Haafingar)
OCCUPATION: Departing post of past 2 years as captain of The Lady of Jehanna as a cover for Blades activities, traveling under disguise as a sellsword.

HISTORY OF CHARACTER: No tragic "my parents were killed by bandits" story here. Mykell was born in Solitude, and he and his father owned a ship that would make trips from Northpoint and Farrun in the west, to Solitude, Dawnstar, and Winterhold, all the way to Blacklight and Raven Rock in the east, carrying cargo and passengers. He developed a love for travel, and a strong sword-arm from fighting off a never-ceasing line of pirates. As medicines were often hard to come by on the high seas, Mykell became very proficient in Restoration magic, and dabbled in the Mysticism school by extension, although he would never by any means be considered a mage.

6 years ago, Mykell's father fell ill and eventually succumbed to disease, and many of the more experienced crewmembers of their ship left to find other jobs rather than work for the very young son of their previous captain. Mykell was forced to sell the ship, which left him with a fairly large sum of gold but no job prospects. He had a uncle who was a high-ranking Imperial official living in Cyrodiil, so he set off. When he finally arrived in Chorrol, his uncle was able to arrange a meeting with a member of the Blades, who immediately sent him to Grandmaster Jauffre after realizing the use of the particular set of skills he had picked up during his days as a seafaring trader and refined while making friends and fighting off enemies during his trek through 2 provinces.

Jauffre instated him as a member of the Blades, and he spent several years doing minor assignments before he was finally promoted and sent on an intelligence-gathering mission to the Illiac Bay, as the captain of his own ship, masquerading as a merchant. That was two years ago, and Mykell has been called back to Cyrodiil for his next assignment.

PERSONALITY: Mykell's got great people skills, thanks to his history as a trader and a spy. He's relatively easy-going, and hides his thoughts well. He's got a strong distaste for Argonians, as they made some of the most effective pirates (due to their ability to hide in the water) but is more tolerant of the Dunmer due to his dealings with them in the port cities of Morrowind and Solstheim. He's always interested in finding out everything he can, and doing so in an inconspicuous manner.

HAIR: Short, unkempt mop of light-brown hair (so hard to fins a good barber at sea)
EYES: blue
SKIN: very tan for a Nord, thanks to spending so much time of a ship's deck
BODY: Average Nord height (around 6' probably?), lean but relatively muscular. No remarkable features.
CLOTHING: basically this:
http://www.zerochan.net/494537
No armor, blue overcoat. Wearing platemail at sea is just asking to drown, and he first learned to move around without it when fighting pirates. Anything heavier than a leather cuirass just doesn't feel right.

LIKES: The sea, fine wine, women, practicing swordplay with locals in many places, to learn many styles.
DISLIKES: Most deadly land animals, Argonians.

AMBITIONS: to complete his assignments for the Blades.
REASONS FOR AMBITIONS: they're the source of his income, he's loyal to Uriel VII, and he legitimately enjoys his job.
