I think the level cap is semi limitless.

the new cap is over 60,000, so you will be able to get EVERY perk, and keep boosting your stats to ridiculously pointless levels (even for the new Legendary difficulty)

65,025^

but that's speculation. It could just as easily be much higher. It's probably not though.

I would assume... if you can keep looping the stats over and over again.. assuming it doesn't stop once you max out perks that is, that it could keep on going till it hits the max limit for an integer... like a couple millionish.

65k+ is the number for a byte (I think). Meaning 255*255. In all likelihood it's the highest level that would be coded for the game. If it's not, the next likely number is 16,581,375 or 255^3. Some programming nonsense.

Either way, it's accurate as far as random speculation can be. I'd assume 65K+ though, since it's unlikely they'd use more than necessary (realistically).

I'm certain someone on PC could use a console command setlevel (or something) to 65,026 and let us know if there's a crash.

Wouldn't even take more than a minute.

Either way... by that point your character would have become Gary Stu of the province.... Determining on whether or not anything can kill you by that point on Legendary difficulty.
