For those of you who have played Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas...

I switch depending on the save.

That said I've gone though the Civil war once each side, were as with New Vegas, more than not I go NCR, or independant.

House is stuck in the past but isn't to bad but I really think Vegas would be better off with better leader ship, Ceaser's legion is even more so stuck in the past (makes for good propoganda it seems, not saying Ceaser isn't smart), couple that with the slaveing, conqureing aspect...they're the ones I least approve of. NCR isn't without faults, and indepedence, gives Vegas a Chance to become a balanceing force. show the NCR they can't get everything and kill off the Leigon at the same time, though the NCR is more stable, so I do think they'd be better in the short term at least.

With ES...I know in the end they'll be joined again either way, so I really just don't care. That and each side is pretty much the same quest wise, just change up the last quest, and add some slight variences.

This.

House is stuck in the past and is trying to make Vegas into what it was, not what it could be.

Caesar's Legion will fall apart after he and Lanius die, they follow Caesar, not his ideals.

NCR is better, but the rampant corruption is troubling.

Pretty much how I see it. On one hand I feel sorry for house though, it's one of those dreams he's just to stuck on, despite having the means to change the whole Mojave area for the better.

I do choose the NCR more often though because they have more of a track record, lacking faith I guess, that or the fact that I view them like the US. You get good times, and good administrations, and occasionally you get slumps in adminstration, which it's in right now.

Maybe I have blind hope that the NCR will go back to how it was in the Tandi days which was pretty good all around.

You people don't talk to house much do you? House wants to make it better than ever, he would have space flight down within 20 years. NCR would probably take more like 60-100. Legion, Never. Yes-man would be a little better than the others but not as good as house. You guys should talk to people more.

Imperial/Yes Man. If Skyrim had had an "You can all go f*** yourselves, I'm taking Skyrim!" option, I would have chosen that.

Okay I'll rephrase mine at least.

All he cares about is Vegas, pretty much just the strip. Basically he wants the Old Splendor and then some. That's fine and dandy but the world's bigger than Vegas. And his attention if focused elsewhere could advance humanity farther than some gambleing haven could do anyday.

That's just my personal take on it.

Granted it's been awhile since I've played though Vegas' main quest so I could be wrong on that, but from what I got he really dosen't care, it's what just about everyone says and it's what I got from talking to him as well, also when was Space Travel even mentioned by anyone?

Yeah, that's more or less a better representation of House. He'll bring Vegas to greatness, but he doesn't have any ambition outside of that, he doesn't see the bigger picture.

Exactly.

He's a Visonary with Narrow sight. He wants a new splendor beyond what Vegas has ever been, what Vegas would have been if the War never happened, but outside of the strip. He dosen't care really.

He makes the Brotherhood of Steel (Conventional Hoarder BoS not FO:3's/Tactis') look open sighted really. (At least in the end they're trying to help everyone to a degree by making sure a big massive extinction at the hand of people with advanced tech dosen't happen)

Its kind of funny that he has that in common with the Think Tank. They're just sitting on literally a mountain of knowledge, and House is sitting on some of the best technology in the world and is extremely wealthy to boot.

I doubt you'll see much of a correlation between the choices in the two games, seeing as most people would undoubtedly have multiple characters on both games.

Since when is it House's job to fix the world? It's not like people asked him to guard Vegas from the bombs; he just took that initiative himself because he loved Vegas. But that doesn't automatically mean he's obligated to stick his hand in all of the other honeypots to bring back the world. And he does talk about using Vegas as a model for further reconstruction of society, but doing it all himself is asking a bit much.
