Magic Dual Casting

I know that Dual Casting is the only way to make Destruction viable, but how is dual casting for the other schools, like Alteration and Restoration?

Play on Normal = Destruction owns everything.

Dualcasting w/ conjuration is pretty useless.

Illusion dualcasting is great.

Kinda pointless /w Alteraion unless its for Mage armor.

Pointless w/ Restoration unless you really need life and have no potions.

Thanks. I'll find some other tree to put these in. Maybe pickpocketing.

if you have dawnguard they have "holy" spells for restoration that damage only undead. and since there are a lot of undead (draugr, dragon priests, raised dead) these spells are one of my new favorites. so dual casting restoration is very good, like i said if you have dawnguard

I plan on becoming a vampire, so that is out of the question.
