First, I'd like to apologize for any spelling or grammatical errors, I'm a wee bit drugged at the moment.

I chose light armor. All of my characters go for a more...regal look; glass fits that very well.

My mannequins are decked out in dwemer and imperial, however.

say, ebony plate, and stormcloak gloves.
its a mixture.

glass cuirass and dragon plate gauntlets and boots.

Light armor for thieves

Robes for mages. (No armor except the diadem of the savant and locket of saint jiub)

Well he means a mixture (which I do sometimes with helmets due to Dragon Priest masks and such) but there actually used to be medium armor in the older TES games which was composed of stuff like chitin and bonemold. Orcish armor used to be classified as medium until Oblivion removed the category and moved it to heavy.
