why does everyone say the same thing over and over again?

the world of skyrim feels so fake when everyone repeats their life story after you pass them in the street. feels like i'm in the movie groundhog day

in oblivion i'm pretty sure the NPCs were more interesting than this

also i don't like the fact you can't kill anyone important

i hope the next elder scrolls learns from these mistakes. a new combat system wouldn't hurt either. and no more fetch quests!

Do you know the problem with Skyrim these days? Everyone is obsessed with death.

You're severely misusing the word "interesting." Oblivion may have had a few more random conversations than Skyrim, but consequently the NPCs had less personality and they all had the same voice. Skyrim actually has scripted conversations between specific characters instead of random topics.

You couldn't be more wrong. One of Oblivion's biggest failures is the NPC's. They lack soul, no personality at all. Same voice actors(even though Skyrim also suffers from this but not as much). They are more like robots than actual people, and the face expressions were atrocious.

Stop! You violated the law. Pay the court a fine or serve your sentence.
