I'll normally just clear out the whole house. I like an open floor plan and neat shelves.

Too much of a hassle to move things around.

I go out of my way to keep things mostly static from when I first purchase the residence, aside from clearing out the containers and such. The only thing I plan to really add to any of my homes is to fill the plaques, racks, and mannequins with created gear.

Find it too frustrating to move things around. Also thinking about crafting less in my hearthfire houses, just make what I need.

Picky. Since Morrowind I've probably spent more time setting up my houses than actually playing. Oh, what I would give for a better manual-placement system...

I rarely move anything in my homes with the exceptions being alchemy ingredients on the floor or movable baskets that I almost always seem to bump into.

I generally don't move anything that is already there and only put things in open spaces. I'm not usually gone long enough from my main house for it to reset, but it would be a pain to move everything back.
