General rule of adaptations:
Movie to game adaptations are horrible.
Game to movie adaptations are horrible.
There is a rare occurrence where the work can end up on the 10% side of Sturgeon's Law, but as I said, that's very rare.

People like ES games because they can make their own character, have a big, cool looking world to explore, and experience a whole lot of weird and wacky content.
A movie denies them the ability to make their own character, it would have nowhere near the capacity to show off the world like a game would, and the experiences people have in game would be hard to emulate.
On top of this, they'd have to write decent plot, which would be hard. --- "Stannis... in spite of everything, he is a righteous man." - GRRM.
