so why not an "elder scrolls" series which i think could be even better than those two? i would rather that than the elder scrolls mmo they making.

General rule of adaptations:

Movie to game adaptations are horrible.

Game to movie adaptations are horrible.

There is a rare occurrence where the work can end up on the 10% side of Sturgeon's Law, but as I said, that's very rare.

People like ES games because they can make their own character, have a big, cool looking world to explore, and experience a whole lot of weird and wacky content.

A movie denies them the ability to make their own character, it would have nowhere near the capacity to show off the world like a game would, and the experiences people have in game would be hard to emulate.

On top of this, they'd have to write decent plot, which would be hard.

Also those two examples are bad enough as it is. The films and series do no justice to their books.
