If i deleted the latest patch, what would be the consequences?

I accidentally legenderized both Sneak and Lockpick and I really want to get them both back up to 100, so If I deleted the patch would my 81+ level character return to level 81?

Has anyone tried deleting it?

You won't be able to play that save. You can't play saves created with a more recent patch than what you have.

TC for what it's worth sneak is pretty easy to level. Just find any guard (I like to do it outside of the main gates of Windhelm) and rig your controller to keep sneaking. I use the plug-n-play cord and wrap it around the left-analog to keep him moving. Go away for 30 minutes and you'll have atleast 80+ sneak.

Or you can just go find the greybeards and repeatedly sneak attack them on Novice, they won't bat an eyelid

If you 'babysit' the entire time, you can train your lockpicking back up as you level up. Honestly, this is more a hassle than anything else. Still sucks though, and I feel your pain.

What are you talking about? sneaking works on non hostile NPCs? I thought it was only enemies trying to look for and attack you.

You get stealth experience from remaining hidden while moving when there is anything that can detect you. However, hostile NPCs grant more experience. If you really want an easy way to level Stealth, summon a Dremora Lord while sneaking. They always spawn facing away from you and you can sneak attack them until they vanish. You will even get weapon experience while you do so.
