  3. Question about Kill Cam
2 years ago#1
Hi all,

Not sure about you guys, but I pretty like the kill cam that once happens the moment you land on the deathblow upon your enemies.

Once thing I don't get is, how to trigger them?

I usually has it happen when I use bow that snipe off enemies from afar, and sometimes with a sword. I'd really like to see if you can slice the throat of your enemies, with a dagger or sword, like when you perform a stealth kill in Tenchu~

Thanks in advance!

It's largely random. Tends to only happen to the last or only currently aggro'd enemy nearby. Also it needs to be on relatively flat ground for a melee one.

I think it's a 50% chance on the last enemy (the last red dot on the compass).

May I also ask, should it be a strong blow, or a normal attack will trigger it as well?
I do remember I have it happened while I did a strong attack with sword.

You mean a power attack? Either works.

So it's not something you can do to make it always happen then?
Thanks for the kind replies!

Pumping R1 (or whatever you use to attack) checks the odds for the kill cam every press. Meaning, if an enemy is hurt enough, and you mash R1 you're almost guaranteed a kill cam.

Also, I've gotten thousands of them without the recipient being the last enemy. Just a heads up. = )

They also trigger with spells, including weaker ones like Flames.

Other times, you pull off a Hail Mary with the bow/arrow and get nothing, but you shoot someone practically point-blank and get a cam. Weak.

I like them, but wish you could disable them because it keeps killing my shot when I'm above a target with a bow. Arrows are hitting the ledge when they're not supposed to.

The easiest way i find to cause a kill cam is a power attack on a enemy that has or is down to enough health for a one hit kill.

I also wish you could toggle kill cams on and off. They screw up the Bullseye Perk and make you waste all of your mana when you get one with a concentration spell.
