Why Skyrim should have guns.......

Not only has it been 200 years since oblivion but look at all the dwemer tech laying around. The very idea that there aren't at least flintlock pistols is preposterous!

Why make a primitive firearm that can't even pierce armour when you can shoot fire from your hands?

It would be great especially if you have to smith the shot and use alchemy to make the powder. Just make them extremely powerful, with terrible range, and long reload times.

Or we could just accept the best we're going to get his crossbows unless the next game they make is 2000 years in the future

They could easily make a Dwarven steam powered rifle that would fit in with the ES and not feel out of placed. We don't have to get crazy and have a scope on it, just some iron sights.

Fallout 4 - Skyrim with Guns.

Trust me, it'll be the same way like Fallout 3 was to Oblivion.

and yet, we'll never be able to RPG a dragon out of the sky...

Not everyone in Tamriel can wield Magic -__-

Not everyone can be an exceptional archer.

Hell, not everyone can become proficient with a blade.

The introduction of the firearm would stem from the needs of the non-warriors in the world.
