What would be the best place to call Home...

So as I have stated from previous topics I am doing an "Assassin's Creed" style assassin and having a blast doing it (i can go into further detail of how I am going about this style if someone were curious about it).

to stay true to that build i need to think of a couple more things and i would like some input for ideas of things i might have overlooked.

Obviously I need to be able to locate and find Items of Power (Pieces of Eden). My initial thought was to make the Elder Scroll itself a "Piece of Eden" then once the MQ is finished I could sell it to my "Assassin Colleague" at the mages library.

- i would prefer to not do the main quest or even have dragons during this play-through, but I can't think of any other 'Piece's of Eden". Non quest Items would be Ideal so that i can actually store said item in a safe chest.

I would also like to find a "Temple" for this Assassin to Roleplay hiding said "PoE (Piece of Eden) and Protecting it. I have thought of using Skyhaven Temple since it has an ancient look about it, but again. I have to do the MQ to gain access to it.
*Come to think of it, isn't there a chest right outside of the face that folds up? By chance would that chest be a safe storage container?

- I'm tired of beating my head against my desk...any help would be much appreciated.

I'm 90% certain the chest outside of High Hrothgar is safe. Every time I go up there, the supplies Klimmek sends you up with are always there.

Would depend on which Assassin's creed you are referencing. If your looking for a nice Homestead, then Lakeview Manor is definitely a great start.

Technically, the assassins never had temples of their own, the temples are all relics of the Pre-Cursor race. Any Dwemer or well done Nordic burial ground would do.

Even the analogies between Washington and Stormcloak is there. (kinda racist, old white men wanting to rebel against Imperials).

You could pretend the DB isn't full of homicidal sadist (might want to refrain on that torture room), and use the Dawnstar Sanctuary as your Base of Operations.

As for apparel, you can find an unenchanted DB hood in Dawnstar sanctuary your first time through. Combine that with Mage robes of Illusion or various fitting apparel from Radiant Raiment. (I like the Hammerfell garb, wish you could get Nazir's)

I see where the topic title is a bit confusing, but my intention is to use said temple as one of the pre-curser race (much like the observatory in AC4).

Though I like the idea of using the dwemer ruins as those temples I find that there are far too many to make them a "rare" find.
Where as skyhaven is hidden within a cave and guarded by traps and puzzles.

I was thinking of using several daedric artifacts as Pieces of Eden.

- I would like to use the jagged crown, but once discovered I would never let either side use it.

You can. you can loot Nazir's clothing if you complete the quest to destroy the Dark Brotherhood

TC: I'm not sure if the chest outside of Skyhaven Temple is safe storage, but IIRC it does not respawn (or at least I've never noticed it refilled with loot after going through the area during the related quest). It is not listed as a safe location on UESP though, so there may be a risk of your items disappearing.

Awesome! then this is where the PoE will be kept and stored. away from those who would abuse their power.

now that the issue is resolved for the temple...What are some ideas for PoE? here is what ideas i am kicking around...

1) Unusual Gems...
2) Some Daedric Artifacts (would like to avoid the ones that involve killing innocent people)
3) Dragon Priest Masks (Dragonborn included)

also, where should my hideout be? my first thought is to use something small and modest at first (the house in whiterun fits the bill) but there is a certain appeal to the alchemist shack and anise's cabin) but i keep going back to their creed of "hiding in plain sight". the best idea i can think of is the house in windhelm where it has the secret room that i could use...IDK what do you guys and gals think?
