training between each level up. Gets pricey after level 50 though.

iron daggers.

you get the same amount of XP making iron daggers as you do making ebony armor. so just make the simplest thing

Buy all the iron ingots and leather strips you can find, use them to make iron daggers.

You should combine doing that with grinding enchanting- buy all the soul gems you can find and use them to enchant the daggers, that way you should end up breaking even or making a slight profit.

You'll need to make 200-300 daggers and do 100-150 enchantments to grind both skills to 100, so it could take a while.

I probably get most of my non-training levels out of jewellery smithing. Because at least you can sell it and it's relatively light.

I also use any gold or silver I find to make jewellery, it's a good way to grind and make some money.

yup, then I use my petty souls on the new trinkets to keep my enchantment moving up and add a bit more value. Sneak seems to add the most pennies.

For me, leather bracers. The material is so much easier to come by.
