I know this perk won't work with novice spells. The strangest is that it happens with all my characters. If that helps, I only took the perks that enhance the damage for fire spells. Has anyone got the same problem?

It works on my chain lightning. But I took only the middle finger perks (if you don't remember what the perk tree looks like it is the lightning perks). I'll see if I have time later for loading up my Mage and testing if the fire impact works. I do occasionally use ice spike and remember it working for that spell.
Thanks for your reply. But there's something I didn't mention: I only use ice spikes against firebreathing dragons. I tried it on a sabre cat and it worked! Though I'm pretty sure there were other instances when it wouldn't stun the enemy... It doesn't bother me that much, mind you, but I just thought I had to do my share of beta-testing the game for Bethesda.

it's already known that impact casting only works on dragons if you have the augmented element perk to go along with it. --- everybody funneh. now you funneh too.

Wait, which perk is that? The bonus effect after the 2 damage upgrades?
