So me and Erik was hanging out right. Then I start companion quests. Well Erik gets kicked as my follower because of the forced follower from the companion missions. Ever since then I haven't been able to find Erik. I keep going back to the frost fruit inn but he's never there. Any suggestions?

Normally I wouldn't care but he had my damn dawn breaker

Aw man that stinks. I'm way too far along to start a previous save now. I know there's a trophy from obtaining all the unique daedra weapons, so if he took dawn breaker, you thi k that messes up my chances of gettin that trophy?

I believe the trophy is for 15 items and there are 17 total, so even if it discounts the one, you can still get it. I think it would still count though.

There are only 16 (Skeleton key doesn't count).

The counter is for when you receive them. You already received Dawnbreaker, so it's already counted. your good.

If your worried, get both rewards for "ill met by moonlight" by killing all the hunters and leaving the cave (receive the ring), and then go back inside the cave and kill Sinding (for the armor).

You can try to track him with the Clairvoyance spell by starting in Whiterun and putting the marker on Rorikstead. That is supposed to give you the path he'd most likely follow. UESP recommends that technique for a different missing person (didn't work)

This make sense. After I completed most of the companion missions I actuall had to brawl with Erik which surprised me be because I ha been looking for him! He was standing off in front of a castle halfway between whiterun and rorikstead. The mission actually said I was supposed to fight him in. Rorikstead. But he just stood there in front of that castle. My guess was somehow his AI stopped an he didn't continue his walk home. So I brawled him and hired him back
