Disabling Vsync

From Tweakguides.com:

To disable VSync in Skyrim, add iPresentInterval=0 to the bottom of the [Display] section of the Skyrim.ini file in the \Users\[Username]\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim directory.

I was having some slowdown on my HD 6950 and wondering if this may be why. I'm at work right now so I can't test it, but if you are having fps issues try it out and let me know.

Not a good idea. Unless you're retro CRT.

I do it in most games and have yet to run into any major tearing. Every now and again sure but getting bottle necked is more annoying.

Alternatively just increase your refresh rate to 75.
I love you and there's nothing you can do about it.

I've had huge fps increases after disabling Vsync in just about every game i've played.

So are you trolling or do you not know what vsync is?
