Does Skyrim PC Support Gamepad?

I have a PS3, but i have a very high end PC and I want to buy the game for PC of course.  My wife wants to watch me play so I'm going to run the game through my TV and I want to buy a wireless gamepad for my PC so i can sit on the couch and relax while i play.

Does this game have controller support?

Yes in fact the horrible interface works better with a controller than it does with a mouse.

Yes it does. I do the same thing when playing certain games.

You know you can use your PS3 controller right? Just be sure to download Motion Joy and get all the drivers otherwise it won't work.

You can always use x360ce if you have a separate controller for your PC
Currently Playing: Xenoblade Chronicles, Bleach: Soul Ignition, No More Heroes: Paradise, Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC)
PSN: Hoguru

If you can afford the extra 30$ I highly suggest picking up a 360 controller. Just plug the controller into your USB port and Skyrim automatically recognizes it and switches the control type to it. I think you can still map the buttons to the controller but am not 100% sure as I have not tried it.

This game is definetly optimized for a gamepad and not a mouse/keyboard

Since you were asking for wireless specifically this is going to be the easiest option

You may also want to check out the aforementioned MotionJoy. It allows you to use a PS3 controller emulating the 360 pad. I am unsure as to weather you can do so wireless, and what additional hardware you may need to do so.

The game is already programed to accept the 360 pad inputs. Once it's connected you are golden.
