I've read every topic I could find on this subject and have conflicting reports everywhere. So far I've personally confirmed the following skills WORK with Daggers:

Armsman: 100% more damage with one-handed weapons.

Fighting Chance: 25% less stamina used in Power Attacks.

Savage Strike: 25% more damage with power attacks and chance to Decapitate with normal attacks.

However, I'm still trying to figure out if Bladesman effects Daggers before I spend points on it: "+30% Chance to Critical Hit with Swords."

This wiki says it DOES work with Bladesman:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Sword#Swords

The exact same wiki says it DOES NOT work with Bladesman:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:One-handed

I thought maybe the PC board would have pick this skill apart by now so I seek your guidance. Does anyone have 2-3 points in this perk yet and could equip a Dagger for a few swings to see if you land a quick critical hit? /beg /beseech

I tested it and struck that line from the weapons section of the wiki. Basically I tested it with Valdr's Lucky Dagger (innate 25% chance of critical hit) first vs. Bladesman Lv. 3 with a dagger second. Valdr's Lucky Dagger gave me the usual notification for landing a critical strike (the thump of a drum and the message at the top left), whereas the Bladesman Lv3 with a dagger failed to give me the message after about a minute of experimenting (both on a companion).

Just confirming this post. I have Bladesman lv2, and I get semi-regular crits with swords, but never when I use a dagger(which I do a lot to train one-handed instead of simply killing quickly).
