Are achievements disabled when using the console?

I believe so, yes.

I don't really care. Lack of achievements aren't going to stop me from playing the game the way I want to play it, whether with the console or without.

I think it's like Fallout New Vegas, where achievements won't be earned if you enable the console. Decisions, decisions...

I used it to change FoV and I'm still getting achievements.
The advantage of a bad memory is that one enjoys several times the same good things for the first time.

If it's anything like New Vegas, when you exit the game after using cheats and load it back up again you can still get achievements.
