Blacksmith's Elixir?

First of all, I'm an XBOX user and I can't just spawn items (at least I think...)
But anyways... I hear of this BLACKSMITH'S ELIXIR?

There are four levels for this potion. The potion gives you bonuses as such
"For 30 seconds, weapon and armor improving is (20, 30, 40, 50)% better."

The Elixir is obviously the best one, giving you 50%

I've bought up to Blacksmith's PHILTER, giving me 40% bonus. I just can't find the ELIXIR! Does anyone know where I could buy one or what the required ingredients to make it? It would help me out so much. Thank you!

Blisterwort, Glowing Mushroom, Sabre Cat Tooth, and Spriggan Sap all have the "Fortify Smithing" effect for Alchemy.

Can someone please say where you can FIND a Blacksmith Elixir or anything better then the common 20% one you find easily? I've focused heavily on smithing and enchanting and have no alchemy skills... and it seems I can only use three ingredients so with my current skill it gave me 17%, which is even less.

ALSO please if anyone knows... is it possible to upgrade your armor/weapons and then once you find a potion of blacksmithing, upgrade them again? Or must you do it all at once? Because I have 100 smithing and I don't want to waste these daedric hearts.

I can't tell you where to find one, but I know I've found some.

I can tell you that with a maxed out alchemy tree plus a set of fortify alchemy gear, I can make a blacksmith potion with up to 90%+.

I can also answer your question about upgrading, and yes if you have already upgraded an item you can still upgrade it again once your smithing gets higher and/or you get some bonuses to smithing from potions or gear.

Also, simply making an item isn't affected by anything. You will always get the same item regardless of your smithing level or bonuses from gear/potions. Only upgrading is affected. So it's completely safe to make your gear now and then upgrade it later. It's also safe to upgrade it now and then upgrade it later again once you find/make some smithing gear/potions.
