it's been working fine so far but now every time i click play on the launcher it says steam is asking for permission, and if i give it permission it just re opens the launcher again never letting me play, is this a known issue or is my copy just screwed up?

jpofgs_JP posted... I'm having the same problem the "launcher" loads and then I click play and endless loop of it restarting so is this a steam thing that should be fixed ? --- http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/7492/symbolks.jpg White: 2064 8439 2270. Pearl: 3481 3456 6491
Check your Steam/steamapps/skyrim directory....is there a file named TESV.exe!?!?
For me the problem was simple: Instead of updating TESV.exe, Steam simply deleted the file completely.
I now have no TESV.exe file anywhere on my PC. What's worse? Downloading a new one and putting it in the skyrim folder doesn't work. Steam doesn't seem to wanna patch the file a second time.
