Wondering if anyone's had any success with this so far. I bought the house in Riften and want to add a mini-forge outside on the patio, take out some of the non-bookshelves to put more weapon racks, add another mannequin and some better lighting on the bottom floor.

I've worked out that the command "markfordelete" will delete the extra furniture I don't want, but haven't found the base ID's for the customizables above.

Anyone have any success modifying their house?

I know it's possible to create a mini forge, but AFAIK no one has discovered how to spawn a mannequin with the console. You'll have to wait for the construction kit for that

Usually, you can remove an item by opening the console, clicking it, and entering "disable". Unfortunately, the items inside your house have some sort of protection on them, so you have to do it differently. To remove items from inside your house, open the console, click on the item, and enter "markfordelete". Then, leave the cell (in this case the house) and re-enter and those items should be gone. Sometimes it takes waiting 24 hours for that to occur. One warning, when removing bookcases, weapon racks, and armor dummies, they are only removed visually. You can still actually use them, but the items will just float in air.

To add items, use the "player.placeatme XXXXXXX 1" code to spawn the item.

The items for all crafting furniture are:
player.placeatme D54FF 1 (alchemy table)
player.placeatme D5501 1 (enchanting table)
player.placeatme 727A1 1 (tanning rack)
player.placeatme D932F 1 (workbench)
player.placeatme 1A2AD 1 (anvil)
player.placeatme 6E9C2 1 (grindstone)
player.placeatme 9C6CE 1 (smelting oven)

For any other item/furniture you want to place in your house, open the console, type "help XXXXX 4" where XXXXX is the most unique word in the item's name. Then use pageup and pagedown keys to scroll through the results and find the item ID. Use it the same as the ones posted above.

Now, items you spawn yourself inside the house will not be protected, so you can delete them instantly using the "disable" command.

I have yet to be able to find the codes for spawning weapon racks, bookcases, or armor dummies.

Is there an easy way to adjust the items you place in case they come out crooked? Especially when placed outside.
