Damn Killcams...

I got an Archery killcam on the hunter right outside of Riverwood right after starting a new game and she fell in the river. The killcam never ended because the river kept the body moving. I had to reload the game...

So, is there any way to end a killcam prematurely?

if they don't add an option they should just make it auto end after 1 minute... I seriously doubt I want to watch a corpse tumble around for more than a minute anyway...

Yeah, that looks like something they didn't foresee/find/correct.

Hopefully it'll be corrected in the next patch, but then it's Beth we're talking about here... >_>

I just wish there was more customization options. Sick of using the console to set the killmove to 100% chance and still being random.

I haven't verified it yet, but maybe if you hit the button to toggle between first and 3rd person it'll stop it. I know that occasionally I'll see a kill move done from the first person view (which sometimes looks very confusing).

I once killcam'd lydia off the top of high hrogthgar. It was funny watching her tumble down the mountain in slow motion.

Oh, I killed her for complaining about my burdens.

I hate how the paralyzing effect from the top perk in archery applies before the arrow gets to the target. Then you have a kill cam initiated to boot so the target falls over paralyzed before the shot even goes off and of course the arow flies harmlessly over the target. I hate wasting arrows.

I did try the thing I said I'd try and it sorta worked.... But it's hard to say without testing it more. Basically there's a key that you press that changes you from 3rd to 1st person and back again, so if you do a kill cam move, press that button and see if it puts you back in 1st person again. It SEEMED to work for me, but I didn't have any epic long killcams to try it on, so it could have just been that the thing was over anyway.

You can try playing around with these settings, I'm not sure what they do but the author of the dance of death posted them. Put this in your skyrim ini. It's for ranged and magic killcams.
