Would this $1000 laptop be able to take ultra-high @ 60 fps?

I want to be able to play ultra-high at a consistent 60 fps. Do you think it'll be able to do so?

Also, do you think it's a good idea if I carry that laptop around everywhere for school and stuff?

GPU is sound. Perhaps with overclocking you can run it on Ultra. However, you don't want to be playing max-performance on a laptop as it overheats easily. Laptop screens are very bad also.

Spend a little more and get this. I max Skyrim with shadows turned down as they are very CPU intensive. And good luck setting this on fire it has two fans.

This is what I have, I have the Turbo Boost on and my GPU overclocked and I run it on Ultra at about 30 FPS.

Blizzard themselves says high. But then again, they don't have a list for "ultra" cards.

HA, I thought this was the D3 forums.

interesting, dyou mean that exact model with 1600x900 screen res? You could also try using MSI Afterburner to manually overclock instead of using the turbo boost to and i also just found a neat little mod to improve cpu bottleneck performance that seems like it could make a difference particularly with laptop cpus http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5695 Havent tested it properly to see how big a difference it makes but worth checking out
