Spell Blizzard doesn't do anything in my game.. Glitch or what?

Blizzard can harm the player even though your own spells never should. I remember this was something I was going to look into, but then I got bored and just sort of wandered off to other games. If I pick up Skyrim again, I may be able to fix up Blizzard in a future Better Magic version.

It is a bug that sometimes your own Blizzard kills you. It will always deal small amounts of damage to get that "blood splatter" effect but it can bug and do real damage to you. I have had it few times and surviving that bugged Blizzard always fixes it for me.
