Anyone have an opinion on loverslab for mods?

I usually use Nexus since its generally pretty safe to download mods with hundreds of thousands of downloads, but there are a couple mods there that aren't on nexus.

... Its for the Vindictus armor. I can see why steam or Nexus won't host loli mods, but whats wrong with armor?

Well, if they didn't get permission from Nexon/whoever else's involved with Vindictus, that would be a definite reason the Nexus wouldn't allow it. They don't allow ripped content, not without permission from the rights holders.
I don't know if that's the case that they do not have permission, but assume so.

Eh. I'd happily download mods from there. As long as it's not like "run this included executable" stuff. Just non-executable stuff, I don't see the harm in it.

What in the world is Loverslab? It sounds frightening.

If I recall correctly from my last visit there, it was a place filled to the brim with all of these sex mods for Oblivion (like pregnancy and such, also going as far as one with wild wolves). Supposedly most of them were initially made by Japanese people and the lot of them were translating it for English or something.

It's a bit funny, since there's a tentacle rape mod on Oblivion Nexus that's been around for a while and even some of the tamer Lovers mods (in comparison) aren't allowed on there.

If I had to summarize Dawnguard in two words, it would be this: more Skyrim.

Yeah, combination of that and the adult banners as to why i'm a little skeptical. Think the TERA mods are there too, haven't really looked around extensively.

As far as copyright breaching goes, almost every voice pack for any Bethesda game is ripped from somewhere. Makes me wonder why in the 6 year span, nobody ever Nero's voice from DMC or something.

I use Loverlab for a while, download 100+ mods without any problem.

It is a place where all mods are allowed. You can think of it as a back alley where you can get everything. The site is 100% safe aside from porn advertisement.

If you can't find mods anywhere, loverlab will likely be a place you can find it.

+1 to this. It's where I got most of my ripped armor/weapons like the awesome Mage Champion Armor from Dragon Age <3

Exactly what Destructors said, it is a place where you can find the mods other sites wont host. There also point you to the direction of a lot of mods made by eastern asia modders that you wouldnt normally have access to or even know about otherwise. I use adblock so I dont even notice the porn ads but as far as safe to download it is but just how safe is any place to download. As with anything you download from anywhere always use common sense and be cautious.

Also not just about downloading viruses but downloading that can mess with your game. I DLed an armor mod from there and noticed it had some extra files in it so I didnt use those, it turned out the mod author which was from eastern asia accidentally left some files in there that would change the text of books and signs to a different language. So what I'm trying to say is dont just download anything from anywhere blindly and always inspect it to make sure it wont screw with your game.

Loverslab is by far the better website, if for no other reason than the fact the Nexus will ban anyone for just breathing wrong.

I don't really use the Nexus forums. Its really more about the idea of having a nice, legit place to download with a minimized risk of getting viruses than it is about being in another online community.

Of course I scan after every download anyways, but its still always nice to have some feedback first.
