There are a lot of mods that are not hearthfire compatible yet since it just came out. For instance, you cannot enter breezehome if you use the unofficial skyrim patch and hearthfire at the same time. Either disablew mods systematically to see which one os causing the problem with hearthfire, then either disable it, or disable hearthfire until your other mod(s) get updated for compatibility.
game works now. It kept crashing in dawnguard areas (fort, soul cairn)
Enjoy removing alot more mods and having a more buggy experience.
Hearthfire isn't clean and contains alot of dirty edits. Bethesda in their infinite wisdom decided to delete references instead of setting them as disabled(which would have prevented most of the ctds in both Dawnguard and Hearthfire).
Short of not editing any cell that contains said edits modders can't do jack even if CK gets updated. Trolololololo gj, Bugthesda, gj.
Just to note, you should be careful removing mods (like unofficial skyrim patch) that add/modify papyrus scripting as it can cause problems with your game. Not saying it will cause problems, just that it can. And it might be something that you don't discover until many hours of game play later.
