Dawnguard Serana becoming hostile during Chasing Echos

Okay, so... To put it simply during this quest, Serana becomes hostile during most quest updates (spoilers follow....)





When you first enter the moon dial area, boom, hostile. I was able to console code advance the quest to the next steps, but in the alchemy room with the Soul Cairn, I can't seem to do anything that doesn't make her hostile.


Anyone got any tips?

Maybe you used some kind of aoe attack that hit her before releasing her or she saw you as a vampire or werewolf before?

No, I'm not using magic on this character yet and I've actually gone and done the entirety of Dragonborn DLC with her lol. She's all calm and fine but when I enter the moon dial area or activate the bowl to open the portal, instant hostile. I've even tried attacking her when she's still friendly and I can't get her to go hostile.

Open the console, click on Serana, and type "StopCombat" (sans quotes). That works every time Orchendor (as a thrall of course) tries to attack me.

Haha yes I should have been drooling over her this whole time. Well I thought StopCombat would work, and it did, but only for a half a second...not even enough time to talk to her

Click her.
GetAV aggression

check the number, if its 2, she will always be aggressive towards you.

SetAV aggression 1

Draw and Sheath your weapon (yield).


If this doesn't work set it to 0, though it can have a few problems at 0.

Thank you! This worked when I used StopCombat, then in that split second did SetAV aggression 1
