I recently sold off a game to my local Gamestop that, despite coming out not long after the Wii first released, managed to go for $22 store credit, giving me exactly $26.82.
Now, I've had interest in this game since it was first announced, since I played and loved the first Prototype. If I buy this game tomorrow, I can use a Gamestop Rewards coupon to take an additional $10 off, more than halving the price.
On the other hand, I've ALSO had my eye on Kid Icarus Uprising and heard how awesome it is, plus I've seen it's available at Gamestop for $35 Used. Since I'm willing to buy games Used if possible, I could get 10% off of KIR, combined with that $10 off coupon means I'd get it for pretty much nothing.
What should I do? Get KIR for free, or get Prototype 2 for half off? And if I get Prototype 2, is it too late to get that Radnet thing I heard of(since it sounded like preorder DLC)? --- My shortened name is MM. It's not that I have a bad sense of direction, I'm just interested in all directions.~Laguna Loire
No contest, this. I you have doubts, rent it, play it half way through and then judge for yourself. Not sure what to say on the RADNET, though. I really have no idea except that it comes out with the first batch of copies.
I loved prototype one, but I got Kid Icarus Uprising and it is really good, I'm very impressed. If you want to play prototype 2 go pop in prototype one and you'll get the same experience with a cooler character and you won't drop 60 bucks.
The_King82 posted... Prototype 2. Not even a contest. Get KI when it is $20.
Think you got that in reverse.
Get this when its 20$ (Which hell, will likely happen by the summer, most games prices drop like rocks, even ME3 is 30$ now).
Kid Icarus is likely keeping that 40$ tag for a while, like most first party Nintendo games do. Plus its freaking amazing, one of the best 3DS games i played, and one of the few that i paid full price for (Outside of Tales of the Abyss and Devil Survivor Overclocked) --- GT:OmegaXP PSN:SgtWiggles MGO:Sgt.Jiggles Now Playing: UMvC3, Disgaea 4, SFxTK, Warriors Orochi 3, Kid Icarus:Uprising, ToGF, BB:Extend, Dynasty Warriors Next
