April Fools contest (FF Style)

#1ZeroBeattPosted 4/1/2012 7:35:54 AM
Normally durning a April we try to fool others but this time it will be SE fooling us!

The point of the game is you pretend SE sends us terrible news as a attempt at a joke.

Exanple:
"We here at Sqeenix have noticed a large amount of complaining and have decided to refrain from making an games until we have a 100% decline from them. We shall be monitoring every site and forum and will be sending and retreiving emails from every person who was purchased a title over decade." --Sincerly Sqeenix

We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Game Freak on an exciting new Pokemon Adventure, which will be coming out for the Nintendo Wii U home game console.

After seeing our enemy design in Final Fantasy XIII, Game Freak approached us about a collaboration. They were very impressed by the level of detail and creativity that went into our monsters, but expressed concern that our treatment of the Pokemon might not stay true to their original form. We created the models of Typhon and Ultros, which we later used for the exciting Coliseum battle. Game Freak was impressed that we could add so much detail to a model, but still stay true to the original sprites. You can expect beautiful new models of your favorite Pokemon, in stunning detail as you've never seen before!

In addition, this game marks the first console Pokemon game true to the style of games available on Nintendo's extensive family of portable systems. With an expansive, fully explorable world, including a streamlined HM system, this game will be the most beautiful Pokemon game yet!

Classic Pokemon combat returns, but with incredible cinematic beauty. All of the elements of the HUD can be moved to the Wii U controller, allowing for an uninterrupted view of the battle.

Even more exciting is the new online features of the game. Now you can team up with a friend and work together in the traditionally single player story. Secret bases return, along with the ability to battle your friends' team of Pokemon! There are many other online features planned that will be revealed at a later date.

In addition, there will be Gym Leader contests, where players can submit their concept for a gym. We will then take the best ideas, and make them into gyms that players can download, with the trainer who thought of the idea as the gym leader!

After a ton of complains from oldschool Final Fantasy fans (which is very very very important to them), Square-Enix now considering to bring Final Fantasy XV back to retro 16-bit theme and will be release exclusively on Nintendo 3DS.
