Blame the creators.
I never recognized him as a Cid even when I was playing XII.
I always saw Dr. Cid as the Cid, and the fact that there's never been 2 Cid's in the same game, and that pretty much every Cid before that was synonymous with science/airships. (and Cid in XIII continues that with the Lindblum)

Oh, I am. Dey ludicrous. Titilating us with 2 Cids. What the f***.

Moogles are so cute and usefull, but they don't get the respect they deserve. I would buy a game with a main moogle in a heartbeat! Kupo!

moogles are being treated as jokes. butt monkeys of society.

An innocent moogle struggling for equal rights suddenly gets an enormous thirst for power, becoming the world emperor and enslaving humans. with your 2 metrosexuals plus hot, innocent girl with big breasts and butt plus funny black guy you must save the world and hopefully make a it a better place where humans and moogles can live equally in peace.
