Question about Live Trigger

I'm going for the paradox endings now, but in the guides it says for one ending and the other I need to take/refuse the artifact from Alyssa during the Live Trigger. But I'm not getting any Live Trigger after giving her the 5 Graviton Cores. She just hands it to me, no questions asked. Why is this and how do I get this Live Trigger to appear?

You need to have the fragment skill Paradox Scope active. You gain it after finishing the game, but you have to go and get it in Serendipity.
