Academia 400AF Yellow glowing ethereal orb?

There seems to be a special one of those semi-invisible item orbs there near one of chocolina's spots. It's glowing yellow with a solid yellow ring around it, but using Mog's abilities don't seem to interact with it at all. Is there something I'm not doing right or do I just have to come back for it later?

You'll gain the ability to open those orbs and cubes in the time just before the last area of the game.

If I recall correctly, that one in Academia 4XX (did you mean 4XX?) has an elixir. If you actually meant 400 AF, then I haven't opened that one yet.
