pack mentality passive ability mandates that i have all monsters in my paradigm pack be the same type in order to grant the user a boost.

however, do i need three monsters in my paradigm pack to activate it? if i only have one, won't it activate by default because since it is my only monster all my monsters are technically the same type?

if not, what do they mean by same type? same role?

thanks in advance for the help

Monsters are the same type if they share a crystarium constellation. The Monster Infusion FAQ lists every monster and what constellation group it belongs to.

You have to have three monsters in your paradigm pack to trigger Pack Mentality.
