gilgamesh had to use slow + easy to beat

Also, you don't seem to grasp the concept that Chichu has a faster attacking speed than Lightning. So while Lightning will break the damage limit at less than 900%, Chichu still does more damage because he gets more attacks in over the same amount of time. So the calculation for Lightning's damage is based on the lower amount of stagger time, based on extra time needed to chain, plus the fact that she doesn't attack as quickly.

If you are having trouble with Friendly Fire inputs, I suggest you use two hands instead of one.

destrian it does seem you really against not using feral links for buffs

You were talking about using Cloudburst's Feral Link and that it didn't bestow Bravery. That's why I mentioned Goblin Chieftain. I'm not against not using Feral Links for buffs. Using Feral Links is superior, but you can do what you want. I am against the idea of using Cloudburst's Feral Link and not using Goblin Chieftain's Feral Link here, because that just doesn't make any sense. Goblin Chieftain is by far the best Sen in the game. It might not be the best for pure defense, but that is irrelevant.

Also I dont know why you cant repeat what I seen in ff13, on monsters with high/no stagger points. I guess I am going to have to make a video or something, although at the moment I am playing ff10 now. On ff13 I seen many times accidently just from playing it the stagger bar actually going down slower outside of stagger than in stagger.

I can't repeat it because it isn't true. By all means make a video. I hope you do. It will be much easier for me to point out why what you think it going on isn't actually going on.

To add to psicom's post, I didnt just pull the +900% out of thin air. If you want to be more exact, Chichu out damages Lightning until the chain is ~885%. In a standard ATB refresh period (12 seconds), Chichu averages 15 hits to Lightning's 12 (if your lucky). When you plug in the stats & boosts, ~885% is about when Lightning starts to take over in DPS. Then taking into account the factors listed by psicom, and you wind up with a slightly faster kill by Chichu.

Unless your doing Ally KO. Then there's no contest. Theres also some unconventional paradigm shifting that you can pull off with Lightning that will allow you to squeeze in the occasional extra hit but its not 100% reliable.

looking at this thread.

others seem to struggle with fitting everything on stagger also.

You're referencing a thread from a few hours after Gilgamesh was released. We have a tad bit more understanding of the fight one year hence.
