Digital version difference and add-on DLCs

2 quick questions:

1- Since FFXIII-2 is available for download now (not sure if it was before), has there been any confirmation whether the load times are much faster or not compared to the disc version? The amount of time it takes to load a level is freaking insane.

2- I've finished the main story, just how important are the other DLCs when it comes to the storyline? Is requiem truly the real ending of this game or it isn't that important? No spoilers please of any sort, simple yes/no answer would be more than enough.

I'm at around 144 fragments now and want to get the DLC package when I finished all the fragments (I was pissed when this wasn't available before, so stupid for fans who are interested in all DLCs).

cant help you on the digital download thing

but Requiem isnt a conclusion per se, it is more of an episode to tell you what happened to Lightning while Noel and Serah were on their little journey, and sets up Lightning Returns

the other DLC do not seem to be canon, and seem to be there just for the challenge

Thanks for replying, I didn't know that DLC involved what happened to Light during the game's journey, that's pretty cool!

Any chance to get a reply about the full digital version difference in terms of loading times?

Honestly, having owned a physical copy at one point, and having downloaded the digital copy to finish off the Fragments (I needed 2), if there is a difference in loading times, I don't think it's much, because I honestly can't see one. I still think the digital copy is worth it, though, if for nothing else than the ability to play the game without removing whatever disk is in there, especially if you don't own a physical copy anymore.

Being tired 24/7 sucks...
Sometimes the easiest way to do things to do isn't always the best way...

Thanks for the confirmation, I guess it's not worth it to get the digital version of the game then if loading levels still take an eternity, I still have my physical disc and I like to focus on one game at a time so I won't be changing discs often for it to be a hassle.
