Rayman 3D

Terrible port. The framerate is just awful.

runbleduck Posted 4/22/2011 11:59:35 PM	Even the n64 version performed better than this. This game has both low unstable framerate and lots of stuttering. Let's not mention the excessive ghosting effect with the 3D turned on. UbiTrash really couldn't care less. Anyone who played the psx version recall if it performed better than this terrible port or not?
grans Posted 4/24/2011 3:06:40 PM	You are right, frame rate is unacceptable, especially since the n64 version performed better. Still better than ps1 though. Looks better than ps1 as well. The issue here is that the 3ds is very powerful, more than even dreamcast or ps2. So there's no excuse for the clear lack of effort in this port. In addition to the unstable frame rate, they also removed the dynamic lighting from the dreamcast and even n64 versions. However, the game is still playable and far better than the ds port. --- NEVER judge a game you have not played. -Granville
