Seriously, there is a multiotuch back touch pad and touch screen. Any additional controls needed can be mapped to those and as for PS1 PS2 classic, the back touch pad can be used as all 4 of those buttons

They could use the touch pad on the back as the L2/R2 (i.e. touch the left side of the pad for L2 and the right side for R2) and I suppose the touch screen on the front can be used for the L3/R3 (i.e. touch the screen near the left stick for L3 and the same for R3)

There are ways around obstacles my friends =)

@TC if you are so intent on having L2/R2 button i suggest you saw your L & R buttons in half and re-insert them. Then send a letter to every game company encouraging them to make game for your new re-designed NGP.

As for L3/R3 buttons, you can remove the sticks and bore a hole through the middle. Then you can insert a rubber thing (extra iPod ear buds?) and pretend you click them IN and OUT during games.
