It depends on what we learn as far as the Vita's web browser and such goes, but I'd really like to get the 3G model. I have an Android phone (Evo 4G through Sprint) but I use it for 99.9% data and rarely make any phone calls. The Vita would make a nice alternative, I think, or at least mean I can drag one less portable device with me at times. I can use it if I feel like leaving my smartphone at home, for example.

But I have bad credit. Terrible, bad, bad credit. I went with Sprint for my phone because they are the only ones that did not want a HUGE security deposit from me (they didn't want a deposit at all, but I am on a $150 spending limit, lol). I'm wondering if AT&T is going to force me to pay a huge deposit for something as small as 3G service on a portable gaming device. What do you think?

na its gonna be pay as you go as its not subsidized by att. so dont worry about the credit check lol. only way i could see it happen is if att themselves sold the vita for $50 or so with a two year contract

I see a market for an 'any sim' adapter.

EXCELLENT!

I'm getting the 3G then. The extra price is negligible, so long as the web browser and what-not is worth it. I have my Android but I would like another do it all device <3
