I.e., is the Vita powerful enough to emulate PS2 games like the PSP did PSX games?
Remember: you Byrne Cole with Embrose to create Steem so you can ride the Raels. Don't forget to get your Anjean's Gage in case you run low on Carben.

probably not...just cause the ps2 is still coming out with games and if sony did do it the price would sky rocket like it did for the 1st gen of ps3...

Short answer: Yes

Longer answer: Not likely any time soon. The reason there are no PS2 classics right now is because a couple of reasons. The PS3 lacks the software and hardware(unless you got the expensive fat ones) to play them. The second being that PS2 games are fairly large. Theyre anywhere from 2gigs to 8gigs+. To store files of that size on PSN is a daunting prospect, and not to mention the fact most(key word MOST) people dont have a blazing fast internet connection to download those files in any reasonable amount of time.

PS4 will almost certainly have PS2 classics while the PSV may have to wait a while.
Winning isn't everything, but it's the only thing that matters.

How long do you think it takes most people to download a game like inFAMOUS? I don't think download speed is the problem.

yeah and how big is your SD card? you're going to pay $12 just for an 8 GB card to store an 8 GB game?

It can be done easily, if the games are actually sort of ported over to Vita. Actual emulation's going to be practically impossible.

PS3 isn't strong enough to emulate the PS2, so it won't be done via emulation

I'd prefer DC but it can't emulate that either

DC as in Dreamcast? Hopefully Sega brings over that collection they did on the PS3/360/PC, I'm sure the Vita could handle it (not emulation of course but just making it work)

I doubt it onVita.

They'll likely release hd version of PS2 games for Vita. Like what Konami will do with the MGS games. It's more profitable that way and I don't mind if they do. :)

You don't mind purchasing games that you already own?
