I heard there was going to be a Justin Bieber themed Vita that had the words "Never say Never" on the sides of it in punk, bolded white on the Vita. I also heard that some retailers would only carry this version.

Does anyone know if this is true or not?

A My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic themed Vita will be included in the launch bundles.

I found a more detailed description of this on another website.

In the storm of Vita hype, I've received a new anonymous rumor about a special edition version of the Vita! As usual, it's a rumor so take it with a grain of salt, but this guy has sent in tips in the past and most of them have been pretty reliable.

According to the rumor Sony is keeping a big surprise under wraps. Apparently they are planning to release a special edition PSP Vita that has never even been hinted at! In the box there will be the following:

-A Special Justin Beiber- themed Vita.
-Justin Beiber's biggest hits come pre-downloaded on the system. These include "Never Say Never", "Somebody to Love", and "Baby", among many others.
-Comes with a free copy of a new, previously unannounced Justin Beiber video game! Supposedly the developers of this game elected to move away from cookie-cutter music games and instead the game will be an innovative new Action-RPG.
-The package will start at $599 in the US.
-Some retailers, for reasons that that our informant chose not to reveal, will only carry the Justin Beiber Vita and will not sell the standard edition of the system at first.

Supposedly, Sony feels that they are losing the casual market to Nintendo. The purpose of this package is to stimulate sales among young gamers and make the Vita a system that will be in the pockets of all gamers, no matter what the age. The official announcement of this package is planned for November 21st.

I dunno, this sounds pretty legit. I mean, it's still a rumor but I'm not sure.
