KADFCPosted 12/4/2011 5:21:29 PM | Isn't the Digital Copy Better than the Physical (Disc/UMD) Copy?
For one, if you lost the game, you need to rebuy the physical, but you can just redownlaod the digital copy because it's tied in with your account.
You don't need to take games with you to play since it's already apart of the memory card.
If someone stole your games, you can redownload your games off the account, but now the other way around (since it'll cost to rebuy the physical)
Those games will always be on your account for you to redownload in the future. If your physical copy gets damaged, you'll have to rebuy it. Even if for some reason my memory card breaks down, at least I can get a new one and reDL my games.
This is of course, not counting on the price of the memory card itself. BTW, this is only what I've read. --- http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=KaddyGamer |

You sure? I thought all games are transferred to the memory card and they are not using any physical media anymore. --- http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=KaddyGamer |
peacefulchaosPosted 12/4/2011 5:34:12 PM | My only concerns are A) Buying a game that I end up not liking (I'm not a big Uncharted fan, but the Vita one makes me curious), and B) Sony suddenly pulling a game I wanted from the network a la Dragon Ball Z.
That aside, I prefer the convenience of digital media these days unless it's a really rare game. --- http://twitter.com/#!/DragonHouseAK |

That was the Go. Vita will utilize physical game sticks/cards/cartridges (not discs or UMDs) and it will also utilize downloaded games from PSN.

GreenMan1986Posted 12/4/2011 5:43:28 PM | No.
Same or higher price, takes up a lot of memory space, no resale value.
The only instances I can think of them being better is when they are cheap and fix slow-down issues. Mainly DarkStalkers and SNK games. Though some increase load times like GTA :/ |

--- Ahhhh, oic. Thanks. Hmmm, that's even better. I thought I would have to get use to the new concept of gaming, but this works. I'm questioning of the possibility of it being damaged or not. If it's as durable as USB Memory Card (jumpdrives), then that's awesome. If it's like UMD and disc... no
About PSN taking down games, I think that's the biggest concern. Hopefully, they'll let me store it onto my computer so I don't have to rely on PSN forever. --- http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=KaddyGamer |
