GeminiX7Posted 12/20/2011 2:10:07 PM | I went to GS to browse games earlier today and heard an interesting conversation between a Gamestop Employee and someone I believe to be a Nintendo rep of some kind (middle age woman, Nintendo emblazoned button up shirt, was changing out the demos on the 3DS and Wii kiosks). From what I heard it seems like Nintendo(or at least people who work for them) think the Vita will sell slow initially in the US but will pick up steam after more games are released and third parties start making cheaper memory sticks. As she put it "I'm interested to see if the Vita will outpace the 3DS. I'm thinking by next winter(I assume 2012) the sales will be about even."
Obviously, she isn't some higher up in Nintendo, and alot of you will say "Lol GS" but I thought it was interesting.
Also, Skyward Sword is being demoed at GS, as is MK7 for the 3DS.

just ports of old nintendo 64 games now. You do realize that there are only two N64 ports with no future ones announced right? The Vita doesn't have enough good games announced after launch to outpace the 3DS by winter IMO --- Pokemon White FC: 3825 8419 4405 |

pretty sure the vita only has two ports as well, LBP and UMVC3

Nintendo always starts out strong and simmers out as time goes on, Sony starts slow and builds momentum. In the end they pretty much end up evenly paced depending on the amount of third party support.
