Sony needs to patch Vita to make games bootable without a memory card.

It's the developer's choice, so if you're want to blame somebody, blame them. Although I suppose you could blame Sony for giving them the option in the first place

Blame Sony for not putting on board internal memory for the new anti piracy features.

with this trick sony thinks it can fool most people into believing that the vita is $ 249 and ready to go and play everything out of the box as it should

they will eventually realize that this is wrong, mostly because of bad sales, and they will bundle a men card with each vita or sell a redesign vita with on board ram..with different options ala iPod, 8,16,32,64

what they are doing now is sneaky but it won't work, and the sales in japan are already proving it

It's up to the developer whether or not they want to save on the cart or the memory card

They can't because it's a anti piracy feature. The should of just included some on-board memory for games that used there new anti piracy.

This save issues won't have been a problem if they copied the iphone strategy like they offer various pricings for Vita with different internal memory storage sizes. Those games needing a memory card is hurting Vita too much than Sony thinks. Most people here thinks the 3G model is hurting Vita but that's not true. What's hurting Vita the most is that you essentially need a memory card.
Nothing is sweeter than watching an enemy's revenge backfire on them.

NO SCREW THAT IDEA on board mem in a closed system is a horrible idea. I like being able to ugrade if I want without have to buy a whole new system

The psvita has 4GB of flash memory inside reserved exclusively for the OS. Since there is so much resistance for buying those memory cards they could at least release a patch to create a 1~2GB partition for the user. I really doubt the OS takes all that space.
