How durable does it feel? Will it require a screen protector of sorts as well or is it cool as it is?

Although I don't have one, i'm assuming its like a touch pad on a laptop. I don't have a protector on my laptops touch pad, so I won't with the Vita.

feels pretty durable. pretty strong actually. though I wouldn't put a screen protector on it because I don't use the rear touch pad much at all.
