Those that never had this problem are probably in an area that had already been mapped by skyhook.

This has never worked for me. Around 2 weeks after I did this that NEAR button started having a blue line that went 1/8 around inside of it. Now the blue line never shows up.

I have tried to add my address to skyhook two times now (first time about 4 week ago and the last time was yesterday) but it doesn't work. I live in sweden btw

1) Are you sure all the information you entered is 100% correct?

2) I have heard of people having to wait 3-4 weeks until it worked.

3) Skyhook might not be the problem and its your vita's settings. try changing settings or restoring your vita. Warning this will delete everything if you don't back it up first.

Can you only use this inSSIDer program from a laptop or desktop with wifi? I use a desktop that has a cat5 going to the wireless router and the program isn't giving me any info.

yes it should work on all computers.

Well it works! It took four days, but now my Vita doesn't say cannot find location now when I use NEAR at home. While I don't get much on the mileage chart, it does say how many people are playing near me, and occassionly says what their PSN Id is. Thanks for the suggestion.
