The reason the Vita is flopping is because Sony marketed it as a big beautiful, powerful machine instead of a fun system with lots of games.

PSP was successful in this regard because people didn't have smart phones back then. People bought PS1 because it was also a CD player. People bought PS2s because it was also a DVD player. People bought the PSP because it let them play music, movies, browse the internet and more.

The Vita simply doesn't offer any substantial features that people don't already have on smart phones.

It does not help when no vita beats the graphics of Infinity Blade 2 ... a cell phone game.

It's just hard to cope when something you love so much flops so hard. I mean, this thing is doing horribly and it makes me sad :(
