What are some of your favorite things about the Vita?

I just love having a beautiful screen with controls that are almost console level. Having a nice console experience on the go is a great counter point to my more "handheld" style games I get for my 3ds. The systems go hand in hand IMHO.

Second I LOVE being able to play PSP games on it with the extra analog and the larger screen. It's a shame Sony didnt nix the PSP GO and just make the Vita run all PSP games right out the door.

Im really hoping the Playstation Mobile will give us some great Android/IOS games that could work very well on the Vita.

The second analog stick. Makes games and genres that were a chore to play on the PSP a breeze to play on the Vita.

The overal sense of quality. It feels expensive compared to other handheld game devices. It has a similar quality as expensive smartphones.

Also with sonys superior studio portfolio the games are awesome.

The fact that I modified mine to shoot a laser out of what used to be the mystery port.

Oh, and the second analog, Great interface, and it's over all awesomeness.

Lol, what the heck is that port anyway...

Not to contradict above posters, but I actually think the second analog wasn't very well thought-out:
• It doesn't have enough resistance to feel as good as other analogs
• While protruding analogs are more comfortable than the PSP's analog nub (and 3DS's slide-pad), it makes finding a pocket-able case a complete and total pain in the ass.
• On PSP games, it results in either southpaw controls or losing 360-degree right analog aiming since they didn't think it through enough to realize we needed the ability to re-map the left analog too.

But what I like is DAT D-PAD!!! It's not only an amazing step up from the PSP, but it feels WAY better than the d-pad on PS3/360.

My favorite things are the screen (and the subsequent inclusion of a touch screen) and the inclusion of two REAL analog sticks instead of nubs like the PSP or (dare I say it) 3DS.

Probably the screen. I like the buttons, too. But not the shoulder buttons which sometimes act like they're not being pressed. Is that just me?
