Read about it this weekend and it doesnt look good for sony. Id really hate to see this system become the next psp.

On the outside it will be great for some. But in a year or 2 when most devs throw in the towel as far as new games go we will be paying the price.

I have no objections to pirating but id really like to get more games on this system before it becomes a paperweight.

If it allows for playing pirated Vita games, i agree. If it only allows for emulators, homebrew and PSP/PS1 games... Well... It would move units?

I'm out of the loop, is it another exploit to run PSP games?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. A kernel exploit in the PSP emulator, to my knowledge, can not be escalated any further, thus leaving the Vita kernel safe and sound. That said, Sony is on top of things with removing the exploited games within hours of the announcement to the scene.

I don't think it matters a lot unless the CFW is easy to install.

For now they say it wont go beyond homebrew but thats like lending someone money and they say they will pay you back during tax return time.......

Crisis Core on my vita!! FINALLY!!! Along with Birth By Sleep, and Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. Ahh <3 As for ps1 games, i will continue to buy those of the store.

You make it sound like the Vita has a lot of developers rushing to make games for it now ... sadly, it doesn't.
