I agree the Vita doesn't need "great" sales to be successful, but it does need at least mediocre sales to be successful and so far it's not reaching even mediocre sales.

It need sales like "oh thats a respectable amount" not "OMG OMG the vita is dying it is blowing up as we speak AHHHH!" yeah.

The Vita needs better sales than the PSP and it just isnt doing it just yet.
The Vita is a great machine. It just needs more of a reason for people to care about it.

I loved my Dreamcast. I played it a lot, until my brother scratched the lens. I know it was amazing. But due to the sales, very few people consider it a success.

Pretty sure the only purpose for a console is games. And the dream cast delivered. About 70% of the games are quality single player games our great arcade-like experiences. Console games didn't do arcade ports like the dreamcast did.
